Do It Yourself: Mason Jar Easter Basket

Hello Darlings!

For some reason I thought Easter was always in April. So, when I looked at the calendar I was a bit shocked that is was this weekend- in March! I’ve been on a bit of a holiday Mason Jar kick (check out my St. Patrick’s Day candles) and thought that Mason Jar Easter baskets would be such a cute little treat to hand out. They are simple, fun, and the stained glass looks gorgeous in the spring sunlight. Easter egg hunts anyone?

What You’ll Need:

Mason Jars
Transparent Glass Paint
Easter Candy
Easter Grass
Ribbon
Optional: Small Toys

1. Paint clean Mason Jars with the transparent glass paint. Make sure to follow the directions on your paint bottle. I left a circular ‘window’ of clear glass to make seeing what is inside the jar easier.

2. After paint is completely dry fill the jars with your desired amount of Easter grass.

3. Add Easter candy and toys (I love this little chickens I found at the craft store!)

4. Screw on the Mason Jar lid. Tie or glue ribbon around the lid or glass jar.

It is that simple! Have a wonderful Easter!
