Hello Darlings!
Merry Christmas everyone! I hope everyone is having a
wonderful holiday season! When it comes to the holidays I know I am not the
only one who loves to peep into everyone else’s windows and see how they’ve
decorated their lives. I thought I would make things easy by sharing a bit of
mine!
First, you can’t go wrong with Christmas wrapping. I had a
very Ikea Christmas this year, and prettied up my presents with paper, twine,
ornaments, and gift tags I found in Ikea’s marketplace (one of my favorite
places to shop!)
Christmas and candles go hand in hand. I’ve used them in
multiple places in my apartment this season. I kept it simple on my kitchen
table using branches trimmed from my tree, a thrift store platter, and a few
pillar candles.
I spruced up a side table with a bit of mercury glass, a
gorgeous Barnes and Noble classic, and more candles of course.
I added a bit of sweetness to my counter with an array of
holiday themed candy- both pretty and tasty!
And last, but definitely not least, my crowning glory, the
Christmas tree! I love rustic-looking trees, so I kept it simple, with a few
strands of lights, some gorgeous colored baubles, a few strands of lights, and
lots of animal ornaments!
