Do It Yourself: Relaxing Bath Soak

Hello Darlings!

I am a bath person. Showers are easy, and I love to shower first before slipping into a wonderful bath, but if I had to choose, bath all of the way! I love that you can ‘customize’ your bath experience. You can add smells, bubbles, essential oils, salts, and step out of the warmth feeling like silk. This blend of herbs and salts is a wonderful way to relax after a stressful day, and even a great soak to pop in the tub when you and your sweetheart relax together this Valentine’s Day!

Ingredients: Makes 1 Pint

- 1 Cup Epsom Salt
- ¼ Cup Sea Salt
- ¼ Cup Lavender
- ¼ Cup Chamomile Flowers
- ¼ Cup Rose Hips
- 10 Drops Lavender Essential Oil

Instructions:

1. Combine all herbs- lavender, chamomile, rose hips.

2. Add salts, mix well.

3. Add lavender essential oil drops and mix well, distributing the oil evenly.

4. Pop in an airtight jar to store.

You can add a scoop of the mixture directly to your bath if you don’t mind a bit of a mess (I happen to like being surrounded by floating herbs) but if you want to avoid the pretty mess, add a scoop or two into a piece of cheese cloth. The cloth will contain the flowers and allow the salt to dissolve!

A very important question: are you a shower or a bath person!? Let me know in the comments below!
