Post-Yoga Products: Ora’s Amazing Herbal

Hello Darlings!

I am constantly running around popping from yoga class to yoga class attempting to feel fresh with each new set of faces, which is rather difficult as I often am running bouncing around like a bunny, or prowling like a tiger with the kiddos! When I found Ora’s Amazing Herbal I knew I wanted to try samples right away.

Ora’s is an eco-conscious and all-natural company started by a mother who was looking for a holistic and healthy way to treat her daughter’s skin ailments without steroids. The products she created are the result of an incredible amount of research and consultation with master herbalists, and work wonders on skin and hair!

All Purpose Salve

This All Purpose Salve really is all-purpose. I have thrown it into my yoga bag and used it as a lip balm, hand lotion, a soother for an accidental burn when closing the oven door, and an intensive moisturizer for a cracked heel! The base of grapeseed oil is infused with calendula (my go-to healing herb), a number of essential oils including the anti-bacterial Tea Tree Oil, and a wonderful assortment of moisturizers like vitamin E, beeswax, and coconut oil.

Blissful Earth All Natural Body Powder

I love body powder. Chuck some on after a workout and you feel just a bit fresher when throwing on a sweater and heading to the next studio. This particular powder is naturally deodorizing, and is talc and synthetic free, which are necessities for someone like me with super sensitive skin. I also really enjoy the natural lavender and sage scents in the Blissful Earth powder, deodorizing your body and simultaneously making you smell like flowers? Yes, please!

Vanilla All Natural Baby Powder

I use baby powder constantly as a dry shampoo, but when you’re in a hurry and don’t have the time to brush it through so that it all dissipates into your hair you can end up looking like you have salt and pepper hair! This All Natural Baby Powder didn’t have that problem. After sweating into a messy bun for 75 minutes, I let my hair down to dry out before my next class. I popped some of this (heavenly vanilla scented) into my roots and at my scalp to hurry the process along and the results were incredible!  I couldn’t believe how voluminous and clean my hair looked post yoga, and without the itchy side effects of dry shampoo.

Excuse the bathroom selfie but post-workout hair with volume!!
