When it comes to food I want things to taste good, look great, (usually) be healthy, and be fun to eat! With being super busy with my new business on top of my regular schedule of activities :: said like an event announcer :: I have been trying to save time in any way possible. One timesaving idea was to check out one of the cook-your-own-meals subscription boxes, however I had always been a bit wary because of the incredible amount of waste that their packaging produced.

Sports bra shopping drives me crazy. You want something that is cute, supportive, doesn’t bunch up your T-shirt, and most of all fits without digging in or completely flattening out the girls. Generally speaking a bra that fits all of those criteria is pretty hard to come by. My sports bras have always felt too restrictive (pancake boobs) or a bit too busty (cleavage is awesome sometimes, but when you’re falling out of your bra in headstand? Not so much.) and there didn’t seem to be a middle ground.

I love that I can make healthier versions of ice cream- with almond milk YUM- at home and pretty much on a whim (minus the 24 hour freezing period) so I have been playing with making my own recipes but adoring the ones in my Vegan Ice Cream Sandwiches cookbook!

When it comes to how I cope with ailments I am anything but traditional. I love that there are so many options for healing in this world and that holistic health is becoming more popular in everyday society. I was fortunate to have grown up with a mother (now an herbalist!) who taught me how to listen to my body, and that when I wasn’t feeling my best I had the option of reaching for something natural.

One of the ‘make-it-simple’ ingredients that has been my go-to this past month is the line of spice blends from Outer Spice. I have been insanely busy and barely have time to think, let alone create a spice blend for every meal I eat.

However, silly me didn’t think to ask about the ingredients until, well, when I decided to try to make it myself. I have been beyond exhausted lately. While I love what I’m doing, I definitely have a lot on my plate. So I’ve been trying everything in order to maintain my generally chipper self! Eating clean, (attempting) to get to bed before one, and adding bladderwrack to my diet to help boost my thyroid, (thyroid problems run in my family, another cause of exhaustion), have all helped a bit but sometimes I felt like I just needed a coffee. Wanting coffee is incredibly strange for me- generally I’m a tea person, caffeine and I just don’t get along.
